Recently, we were invited to perform at a Bar Mitzvah in London for a football-obsessed 13-year-old named Daniel.
His mum had one clear goal:
“If we’re doing a football theme, it has to be done properly.”
She didn’t want background entertainment. She didn’t want something the kids would ignore after five minutes. She wanted a moment that would genuinely land.
The room was full of teenage boys — which, as you know, can be a difficult audience.
They’re confident. They’ve seen everything on TikTok. And they’re not impressed easily.
The idea was simple:
Keep it high-level. Keep it real. So that's exactly what we did by bringing in one of the world's best freestylers.

About halfway through the show, Daniel was invited forward.
This part matters.
It wasn’t about putting him on the spot or making him look silly. It was about giving him something he could actually do, and do well.
He picked up a couple of tricks quickly. His friends reacted instantly. Not polite clapping, proper noise.
That shift is what makes it work.
He wasn’t watching entertainment at his own party.
He was part of it.
When the show finished, the crowd didn’t disappear.
The boys stayed. They wanted to try things. They wanted to beat each other’s attempts. They wanted to learn one more trick.
Parents were smiling because the room was alive and engaged.
Later that evening, Daniel’s mum said something simple.
“I’m really glad we did that.”
